Ottawa-Carleton Districdt School Board - The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is the largest school board in Eastern Ontario serving students within a 2,760 square kilometre area known as the city of Ottawa. The district the seventh largest board by school population in the province of Ontario. The students are based out of 143 schools - 113 elementary including two special education sites, 25 secondary including the Adult High School, and 5 secondary alternate sites.
Canada Air and Space Museum - The Canada Aviation and Space Museum engages visitors with the wonder of flight through its spectacular collection, educational programming, activities, and special events. The Museum focuses on aviation in Canada, but within an international context, from its beginnings in 1909 to the present day. As Canada’s contribution to aviation expanded to include aerospace technology, the Museum’s collection and mandate grew to include space flight
Rockcliffe Flying Club - The Rockcliffe Flying Club is a Transport Canada approved Flight Training School. The ground and air instruction syllabus includes training towards the Recreational Pilot Permit and Private Pilot Licenses, the Night Rating, VFR OTT as well as the Instrument Ratings. The school ensures that a flight training program can be tailored to meet the requirements of the individual student. The is also a variety of other services, such as sightseeing, aircraft rentals, pilot supplies, fuel sales, tiedown and maintenance. With over 400 active members, our flying and social events continue to increase in size and number, including our Canada Day celebration, the Wings Dinner, flower bombing and spot landing contests, Young Eagles flight.
