Stittsville is a suburban community, part of the City of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is within the former Goulbourn Township. A part of the National Capital Region, Stittsville is immediately to the southwest of Kanata, west of Downtown Ottawa. The urban part of the community corresponds to Stittsville Ward on Ottawa City Council.

Stittsville Village Association – The Stittsville Village Association is a group of volunteers that includes residents and business owners from a variety of backgrounds. The SVA is committed to actively preserving and promoting the quality of life in and the community character of Stittsville.

Goldbourn Township Historical Society – The Goulbourn Township Historical Society is a community group dedicated to the history of the former Goulbourn Township, now amalgamated into the City of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada.

Goulbourn Museum – Built in 1872, the building currently known as the Goulbourn Museum used to be the old Town Hall. Despite being the size of a one-room school house this popular community hub was home to council meetings, parties and dances. The adjacent History Centre building was built in 1961 and was the former Clerks building. Now it is used to store the artefact collection, as office space, and to hold meetings and research appointments.
